Hey all,
Today’s blog is about the word “overcome”.
To overcome- a verb; to successfully deal with, control, or conquer a problem, difficulty, or opponent.
After everything this past summer and up until yesterday, it’s time to move forward. No more trying to explain, or to clarify, or to provide results. No more trying to clear my name. No more trying to get all the facts before assuming shit making an ass out of YOU and ME. It’s time, to just accept that if I’m the villain, FUCK IT.
Resilience is just one aspect in remembering that getting THROUGH the fireswamp is half the battle. I am NOT done with my work. I am NOT done continuing to be a positive influence and practitioner to those who adore me. And I am NOT done standing for what is right, even if I am standing alone, with no one beside me. Swords may be in my back, but at least I know they didn’t hit any major artery & I can pull them out to use them in the front of the enemy.
I refuse to stay down. I choose my strength over my sorrow, my anger, and my spite, as the sun always rises tomorrow, even when it rains. I still got so much gas left in me. I will not let this shit that’s happened get me depressed or unfocused on what I NEED to do which is to rise from the ashes. I can only keep documenting, reporting, and maintaining what is necessary for when the time is right, but not let this unnecessary and irrelevant bullshit smear campaign consume me any longer.
To encourage that, I figured these affirmations as they help me, could encourage others.
