I wanted to write a quick blog about protection work using music.
Now, a lot of us listen to music almost every day. Some of us, every moment. But like we remember quotes, scriptures, and sacred texts for our workings & daily life, we remember lyrics.
One of my favorite ways to do protection work is to sing loudly with my Santa Muerte the songs that make me feel her power, make me feel my own power that I AM UNTOUCHABLE.
Now, you’re probably wondering how music can be a protective measure you take to cleanse your energy and create a barrier to your person, home, etc. Music is a universal way that connects us all at the soul, so why couldn’t it be used as a tool to consecrate your divine energy? Use the lyrics the same way you would use prayer to bless yourself, your pets, children, home, car, etc.
For example, lot of my protection music is by Eminem or it’s in the genre of metal & reggaeton. Although these are the usuals, I go with what I feel I need for the day. Before I drive to work, I always set my song for the morning to bless my ride to work. I pick a song where the lyrics SUITS the purpose for the type of protection I need whether that be against people I come across or around, or even from mal de ojo sent to me. I tend to listen to these songs on repeat quite a few times before I continue on to ensure I BELIEVE in the words I am singing.
When I am home, I usually blast music when I’m cleaning or I sing to myself as I sweep, mop, wash, etc. my home from back to front. I have specific songs I sing to my dogs every day.
If you’re musically inclined, you can make up your own songs and lyrics!
Now, you don’t have to limit yourself to just singing along with the music. Dance, scream, drum, air guitar, etc. Find what suits you best to cleanse yourself through the lyrics of your chosen song.
Not only is this a cool way to cleanse and do protection work, it’s an easy every day ritual anyone can do.
